I ahve on a few occasions managed to scrape the underside of the car on some viscious speed humps, and the other day, i was parking two wheels up on a kerb, two down, and again the underpan got hit by the kerb.

I wouldn't dream of lowering it any further! Besides, the ride is already very firm and a little to crashy as it is.

Are you asking what suspension modifications members have had?
You dont make that very clear.
Mine is standard and will be staying that way.
IMO the car is low enough and will not benefit from lowering any further

Wouldn't change the suspension at all, its low enough as it is and i agree with robbo, lowering it won't help.

not quite sure what youre asking mate but have fitted eibach -30/40mm springs to my diesel and love it!...along with type r shocks(although not really sure if the shocks are any harder).really just fitted shocks incase they were slightly shorter travel as ctr is lower anyway.

fitted eibach springs...lowered 25mm and love it much more that on factory springs and car isn't harder....maybe I'll fit koni fsd shocks on it but so far i'm satisfied with factory shocks + eibach springs

i've got one question..i own new honda civic,1.8i,red colour, and i'm planning to put on 18" STORM's and i want to know if there is a need to lower my car after changing alloys?...does it look like SUV?...
i've noticed that quite a few of you own's 18"storms so maybe you could tell me what have you done with suspension after changing them.

Fitting 18" storms doesnt require you to change the suspension. Most people have used eibach springs though.
