Mmm me too - are we talking all round durability here for the money or is it a grip thing

There are so many ways to test tyres - its all in the interpretation

For all round grip I have always prefered the Pirelli's but have never enjoyed the price

I've got the Premacys on mine, seem OK, though the tyre noise is quite loud.

I've had (though not on a Civic) Continental Sport 2, which I thought were very good. Out of that choice I'd probably go for the GoodYears - my GF got goodyears on hers (F1 Eagles) as I'm very impressed with those, excellent grip wet and dry and not much road noise either.

Hope this helps!

Bottom Line - in the end i chose none of the above - i rang 5 different Honda garages, parts dept, for advice - 4/5 reccomended Bridgestone Potenza RE050's. So thats what I got today!

Excellent choice! BMW put Potenza's on the M3 and the RX8 has them too. They are a tyre of choice at the moment.
