16inches wheels for winter tyres

Hi everybody,

Preparing for the winter, I'm looking into 16in wheels for the winter tyres I will buy.

I didn't find lot of threads about this wheel size, but maybe some of you already bought that kind of wheels.

Could you give me advices (nice models, reliable brands, good internet shops,...)

Thank you.

Regards, from France

I have 16" winter alloys from Ace.
They are supposed to be specially designed to withstand salt etc.

Have a look at post 60 and 62 in this thread:
Finally ordered today (Sweden)

I got standard 16" alloys.
If they get fret by the road salt, I will change to FWH's winter alloys

I also bought 16" alloys and 205/55/16 winter tyres. The total cost me about the same with just winter tyres of 225/45/17. Plus, instead of changing tyres on the same wheels, I simply change complete wheel sets.

I bought these wheels, RH MG Concept 16" x 6,5 ET45 and GY UG7+ tyres, all for the price of only the tyres in 17" size. Wheel was 75€ per piece and tyre 105€.

I am still looking for such kind of alloys, but it seems difficult to find something below 100€ per wheel in France...

I'll continue my research... thanks all for your answers!
