That's a good idea. Know of any website where I can have a look at them?

Cheers

Has anyone ever tried one of these puncture repair kits?

EMERGENCY TIRE REPAIR PUNCTURE KIT TYRE WELD on eBay, also, Recovery Tools, Garage Equipment Tools, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 15-Dec-07 20:00:00 GMT)

It appears a similar system, but far cheaper to replace.

Not that I know of, they are genuine Honda ones for the Civic. Munro posted some pictures of them fitted in his car. Have a look here, post number 9.

The gunge only works if the hole is small enough for it took 'take'. Wife managed to get a broken drill bit stuck in the tyre, ended up calling out Green Flag who just hoisted her onto the back of the lorry and found the nearest tyre centre.

I'll be getting a spacesaver tyre in the New Year! (shame really, I love having all that crap hidden away under the boot).

There's still a bit of space around the tyre/wheel, for a bit of crap!!
