I got the first indication of this new colour several months ago - "orange" I was told. It was an instant 'No No". However, on seeing the photographs, I am now becoming accustomed to the colour. I would have to see the car in the flesh. As someone else has reported, you would have no difficulty in picking your car out on a car park. Colour is very personal, but on the photographs alone it is now not necessarily a "No No". The other consideration is whether the colour will effect the resale value. We all know some colours are 'tabboo' when it comes selling them.....

Sorry not for me, it looks dreadful. I can see some good deals knocking about on these in the future.

Well at least they can now get away with the 'orange peel' paint finish..........sorry couldn't resist!!!

Personally all for different colours, good to be different, one of the reasons i went for the Civic in the first place, stands out from all the other hatch 'clones'...good choice and hope you enjoy...

After my yellow Peugeot, I will have an orange Honda

In the garage all cars are boring silver or black. Between them you see a Yellow 106

One more time I will have the happiest color

The Tangerine definitely does make a change from the almost infinite tones of silver you see on the roads these days. But I couldn't buy it.

Is it orange though?

My friend has an orange TT and you cant mistake the colour, and the Focus ST is a a definate orange but the im not so sure about the civic orange to me it looks more like bronze.

Maybe its the light in those photos.

I think there is a subtle difference between what is regarded as "orange" and "tangerine" as per the new Honda Civic colour. That is my view. Other persons may interpret colours differently. At the end of the day either you like it, don't like it or are indifferent. It's all down to personal choice. If an owner is happy with his/her choice, what more could one ask for?
The colour is growing on me, but I doubt whether I have the guts (or money) to buy one. I think it more suits a three door rather than a five for some reason. Personal opinion again. If you are happy with it, fine.

I'll need to see one in the flesh but if I needed to describe the colour from the photos I would describe it as 'rust brown'

True, I was referring to the design or styling. I think the three door beats the five door hands down. Sleeker perhaps. We have a five door, due to our circumstances, but still think the three door has the better styling. The five door offers more convenience, (for us). Personal opinion again.
In all fairness, a neighbour thought we had bought another three door car when it first appeared on our drive. Our previous three cars have been coupes, all Honda.

Orange

These are poor pictures, in poor light conditions, that do not reflect the true colour, see one in the flesh before passing judgement.
