Excat same thing on Edinburgh City Bypass on Thursday 6th! 2.2 in the grey silver colour RE07 *** guy made a two lane carragieway into three while he undertook a Merc and overtook a lorry. Also doing the whole lane dodging thing. Its not big and its not clever especially when you look old enough to be my Dad!

Why not fill in the askerisks and give the law a more sporting chance?

I think I've seen it before TC but paid no attention, just this time it got a bit close and got a dose of full headlights in return.

Isn't that normal driving for the city bypass? Next to the M its got to be the maddest road in Britain.

on the note of general driving attitude, does anyone think its getting progressivly worse the nearer it gets to xmas? maybe its a co-incidence or maybe people dont like the civic but people cant drive, for example, i was approaching a mini roundabout the other day at 15mph and went to accelerate over it as i was clear to go, but the car on the road to the left of me decided (after looking at me) that he deserved right of way and pulled out slowly. i had to stop very quickly (good brakes in the civic btw) and i hooted at him, and he just swore at me.

more and more people cant drive...

Now thats a plate deserving of an extra asterisk. There was a 1.4 the other day, pulled out (never actually looked), then took an age getting to/above 30 mph.

It's not just type R owners (and I had great fun this morning, btw I see what you mean about BM drivers now ), a BMW 3 series hassled me for about 5 miles but couldn't overtake, gto to a duel carriageway and (I thought to myself you'd better have more than a 320i there mister....he didn't 318i repmobile), and left him (boy that felt good ).

Seem's this guys worst than most though, as he has got on several peoples nerves, maybe a sticker need doing saying something like:

Oi!!!! Type R driver of DS07 *** follow > http://www.civinfo.com/forum/you/10036-not-one-you-want-own-up.html

If I was in a courtesy car after only having the car for 5 weeks at that point I think you would have heard my rants on here!

Think it was someone from the dealer though as I saw it parked outside about 20 mins later!

Plates prefixed with RE*** *** are registered at Honda HQ in Slough. Could be a demonstrator, ie someone on a test drive.

There are quite a Few RE prefix reg's kickin about Edinburgh and the Lothians, but the car in question where the guy was being a right d**k was actually a guy from the Garage that I gave what for when I was round there the other.

He was the same guy I spoke to on the phone who said that he had never heard of any issues with the Paint on the Civic. According to him it isn't soft and it doesnt chip easily. Hmmmm, wonder if this applies to his head. May try that out lol!
