Where are all the French Civics?
Not, strictly a "Was it You?", but Lady Dosser and I are just back from a 2600 miles trip from Glasgow to Normandy, Belgium and back.
I know the French are (rightly) loyal to their own manufacturers, but I expected to see a lot more than 6 Civics - 3 of which were in Bruges so only 3 actual French ones in a week. It's such a rare sight in Northern France that we could see blokes staring at the car as we went past. Come on France - get buying a decent car. In 10 days in Europe we actually saw more Lotus/Caterham Sevens than we saw Civics! PS We Brits aren't much better - on the 500 mile drag up through Britain we only saw 3 Civvies. |

Hello Lobey !
Yes we have a real problem in France with the Civic... We have only 80 Honda dealer for the Whole France... And only 600 to 800 Civics are delivered by year... Less than one production day in Swindon ! But you drive an exclusive car I've spend three month in Paris... and I've seen more De tomaso, Aston Martin or Maybach than Civic It's in the south east of France I did see most of them. |

obviously all the rich people live in Paris... .... and all the wise people live in the South East! Lovely country you've got there. I haven't been in rural France since I was a boy (a long, long time ago) and had forgotten what a scenic place it is. All the best, Lobey |
