Clever link that according to that only 495 cw's are taxed and 6 are sorn so only 501 in the UK, and only 175 mugens taxed and 3 sorn so only 178 of them . The numbers are falling
A more radical version dubbed Race differs from the Heritage by removing components (incl. HID, AC, fog lights, audio system, sound proofing, some airbags) to reduce weight as much as 40 kg (88 lb).
When i ordered my Milano FN2 years ago, I remember asking the dealer what the spec of the S Grade was and i'm 99% he said it was a stripped out version, with no air con and radio etc.
It was a model listed in all the launch Honda brochures but it was lacking equipment and given a prohibitive delivery timescale. It lacked basic equipment and was meant to get the list price and entry weight low for motorsport. If you can get hold of a 2007 FN2 brochure the "S" grade is listed but as said a small price drop and deliberately extended lead time meant it never went anywhere but tick some boxes to help marketing needs.
Checked out this thread before I got it.. it has Air con and cruise. Fogs too just no sat nav..
It has a strange history
Built in Swindon
Sent to the Middle East
(Not registered there tho)
Then went to Honda in Newcastle
So it's not an import apparently
as was worried bout This when I got it
look up typeRowner on YouTube if you want to see it got a channel there
Doesn’t seem to be any info anywhere on them. My one is as GT spec I think, has air con, cruise and front fogs, but no navigation. Not sure what makes them different to be honest, but there must be a reason they had different model numbers
This shows what bits were in/out of the various sub-models
could just be that they used slightly different model designations outside the UK.
European FN2s ( and TR Accords) exported to Japan were badged "TypeR Euro"
