Question Looking to buy a Type-S GT-T so a few questions?

Ive been in the market recently for a new car as some of you may have seen on previous threads and ive been looking at the CTR but with my mileage its not really a good idea. But ive seen the 2.2 Type S GT-T which is the same as my car which i love however its colour coded, has a new SDD sat nav and I can get a different colour as the black gets marked so easy :/ so it will be like having a different car but exactly the same.

So i have few questions:

- How good is the touch screen on the SDD Sat Nav as touch screens can be a bit naff to be polite?

- Are there any other differences that ive missed out on compared to my 08 Type-S GT? Ive looked at the Wiki and basically it has the SDD satnav and thats about it?

- How common are they as ive only ever heard about this on one other thread?

- And any reviews on the GT-T as a whole really

Much appreciated!

I loved my civic so changed from a 57 reg to a 10 reg and a change of colour from black to red

from 59 reg on poss late 09 they added usb and aux connection points in the centre console storage box and changed the Perspex grill to the honeycomb in the cts

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the touch screen or HFT in the GT-T, but hopefully someone that does will see this.

Something I would suggest before changing would be to look in to buying the equivalent parts it has over the GT spec either second hand or brand new i.e. grille, HFT, touch screen etc and getting a respray for the plastic bits. It might prove more cost effective than having to change your car especially if it is with a dealer. If the colour really bothers you maybe look into a wrap/respray if you have the cash for it as well. One advantage of keeping your own car is that you know the history of it. At the end of the day it's up to you but definitely worth a look into in my opinion.

thank you both

the auxiliary will be an advantage as my phone is HTC so i have an iPod specifically for my iPod connector and the honeycomb grill looks so much better than the perspex imo.

i already have CTR grill and spoiler and ive looked at colour coding and getting my alloys refurbished as well as a bit of TLC on the paintwork but all of that is costly however it doesnt make my car worth anymore which is really annoying :/ i love my car i love the engine and the interior and the looks but it does need some TLC but im not really keen on spending a mass of money on it to get it tip top when it wont add to the value :/. I agree with you 100% id love to do it and i appreciate your opinion

I do agree with you but my car needs more than that it needs a good 1500 quid at least to bring it up to a good standard with new body work etc and it won't be worth anymore because of it which is annoying
