I must admit, I much prefer the design of the UK civic, both in that it is a hatch, and the interior is sooo much better than the US offerings.

I own a 2009 Civic EX in Royal blue pearl, I am from the United States, and looking at your civics over in europe i would much rather have one of yours.

And you also get alot better gas mileage. 35 city and 40 highway with a 1.8L I-4 is terrible compared to what you are getting over there.

One person said they got 498 miles on 40 litres. I converted the litres to gallons and it equated to 47.58 miles per imperial gallon.

Yes, but you guys don't get Imperial \ UK Gallons ...

1 Gallon UK = 4.546092 Litres
1 Gallon US = 3.785412 Litres

Your calcs. are actually for US Gallons ...

56.6 MP(UK)G = 47.1 MP(US)G ...

Personally - I don't get anything like those figures !!! ...

(Possibly something to do with my Avatar's Slogan ?) ...
