The grill is a downgrade, and the wheels don't look as sporty, so clash with the rest of the styling too.

A new one in Saphire would match our Aygo Blue perfectly - if I didn't need 5 doors a Saphire type S would be tempting......

I wonder where they got the ideas from, surely they must conduct marketing samples,

I think they are trying to separate the 5dr and the 3dr. IMO, the psudo exec car styling touches do not gel. They have not changed any sheet metal by the look of it as that is expensive to re do.

I think a TypeR grill is a necessity on the new model.

I will second that. I think the new Type S grill looks good but I would personally change it from what it was before.
