are there any pics of the polished metal? It sounds pretty nice. I saw a Toyota Auris on the airport in Brussels which looked as what polished metal sounds like.

Yes, I was going to ask the same thing. Although the online configurators you get never show the colours properly IMHO.

So Dan, is it right that the Civic gets a six-speed auto, whereas the Accord's is only five?

Miles away. The Polished silver doesnt have the 'golden' tint to it that Galaxy has.

Oh, that far

I guess a picture of it may not show the difference very clearly. But I still love my Galaxy

NHB. I also see that blueish silver is dropped.

Deep bronze is a welcome addition to the 5 door, it looks very good.

Revisions to the latest Civic Type S have been modelled on its sporty Type R counterpart to offer younger customers a ‘baby brother’ to the Type R at a more affordable price.
Changes include body coloured bumpers and skirts derived from the Type R, a mesh grille and clear rear combination lamp that distinguish it from the 5-door version. Uprated interior plastics with brushed and matt finish for the centre console have also been carried over from the Type R and the sporty Alcantara seats have been retained.
Like the 5-door, higher grade Type S models are now fitted with iPod connectivity and rear parking sensors.

Type S transmissions
The revised i-SHIFT automated manual transmission will also be available on Type S petrol models and benefits from quicker, smoother gear changes and improved shift logic. However, for more enthusiastic drivers, the 1.8-litre engine Type S models will have an additional ‘Sports’ button allowing longer revving before shifting up to the next gear. The i-SHIFT will also be equipped with Hill Start Assist.
The 5-speed manual transmission remains on all petrol and diesel models as standard and features a SIL (Shift Indicator Light).

i-DTEC arrives with the new car in '11 - and it should/may have the auto box.

IMO, putting 17" wheels on all cars except SE is not a fantastic idea....

Wierd also, the 1.8SE has a leather wheel, yet the 2.2SE will have to make do with plastic

DDS is a great addition, but will be a nightmare the 1st time a car ends up in kwik fit!!!

My bad i think but i'd take that as a leather wheel on se's except the 1.4 variant.

DDS?? DWS thankyou....lol. but yeah, the amoebas at Kwik Fit will have a field day.

(Deflation Warning System - i'll have you know.....)
