Not sure on the rates. Feels a lot smoother than standard, yeah did the rears on my own. Got my mate to help me with the fronts today. Good job I did cos we had to angle grind the arb drop links off and fit some new ones. 24 quid for a pair and the springs were 90 on eBay, brand new in box.
Probably need to get the alignment checked afterwards and it's worth getting a garage to fit new arb drop links before you start unless you want to cut the old ones off and fit new ones yourself. I used an angle grinder and a new pair.
The fronts look a little high but will settle. The back will settle a lot. I have Tein on mine and the rear tyres sit level with the wheel arch trim. Good job doing it on your own though, much braver than I was lol.
Can i be awkward and ask for photo taken closer to the ground level and from more distance please? Looking down on the car from the close i can't see much difference.
looks spot on, I was thinking of these as I don't want mine to look lowered,
do you have spacers on there? how has it improved the drive?
Have they improved the drive/feel as I have 19" rages on mine and would like the Teins
I don't have spacers yet, it has made the ride a lot smoother. I have to take a look at them this weekend though. I have a creaking noise from the front left corner.
I had teins on my ep3, they were nice and handled track and road well. Im going to get some for the fn2 as well. Just make sure you put the sleeves on the springs where the coils are close together, to stop them hitting together and clunking over bumps!
I also have these fitted. Can recommend. They are firm, but no firmer than OEM and give a nice subtle drop. I have always ran Coilovers in the past, but for road use only springs are fine.
