Replacing the family wagon

The Scenic is having a few electrical issues and is sounding a bit rattly these days so it may be time to chop it in. The missus hasn't pounced on my idea of an Fn2
She likes honda but didn't like the ride or rear screen on my Fn2.
Requirements......

Petrol
Bit of grunt
Lowish tax band
40+ mpg
Newer than 2010
5 door
Not cramped
No more than 4500

We've narrowed it down to the cars in the poll.

Help and advice please

Garage
I'd put down for the BM out of the lot, but at the same time could see you being bitten by maintenance costs given it's a German:- Wifey happy to drift the roundabouts of swindon in the snow with RWD?

The one I least dislike is the Beemer estate, sorry 'Touring'.

Most Audi drivers are prats, don't become one!!

I've an audi and a civic !- hopefully driving the civic neutralises the audi effect above ( thinking.... maybe need to get out with the civic a little more)

I would say get out in the Civic a bit more ... Audi drivers still seem to think they're top of the 'chip-on-their-shoulder food chain' and can drive closer to rear bumpers than others - except Insignia owners - they're the worst, on a par with Kuga drivers ...
