Unlocking Options.

I have the keyless entry - love it (and the keys are locked away in a metal box when not in use ...).
Entry only by the driver's door only seems to unlock the driver's door - and unfold the mirrors if you closed them - I always do.
Entry by the passenger's door unlocks all - I thought ...

I'm used to having locked the car, forgetting I still have something I want in the hatch, and it opening for me.

This morning, I reversed into a closed bay, knowing my bag's in the back, so not shutting down the engine, before I reversed all of the way in, I stopped, got out and went to get my bag out - NOT HAPPENING - LOCKED!!
I had to shut off the engine, then I could open the hatch, get my bag out, then restart the car again to park up properly.

Bit of a fath if you ask me!!

That's just it.

I'm sure you're right, and there'll be an 'option' somewhere to set this, change that, review that ....

Is this all really necessary?
One thing I didn't try, with the engine running was to use the unlock switch in the driver's door - I'll try that.

It does stop people opening up and nicking things, so is a 'nice thought' I suppose.
