Handbook update

We had a letter last year if you remember about an update for towing weights. Well at my recent service they took the handbook off me to be sent off to be replaced. What a waste of paper and I'm without a handbook until I receive my new one! Don't know why they couldn't just put a postie in

I'd have asked them to let me know when the new one is in stock so it could be a direct swap.

Not often I admit, but there are times I do refer to it.

My dealer phoned me to tell me that mine was 'in' and could I pop in at my convenience to swap it. Simples. (but still a waste of paper when a stick on bit of paper would have done the job).
But I suppose that if someone didn't do it and the subsequent owner had an accident that was apportioned to incorrect info in handbook.... I'll leave the rest to 'Injury Lawyers For You'

I know mine is waiting for me at the garage, the next time I am in (replace front H badge), they'll change it out.. no rush...
