Noisy window operation

Hey guys, not sure if this has been asked before, but would anyone know of a good, cheap solution to fix my noisy electric window operation? See link below of example. TIA

Have you given the runners a clean?

Stealer's told me my regulator needs replacing, how would I go about cleaning the runners? Any particular cleaning solution do you recommend? Thanks

I used halfords silicone spray on the runners when mine started doing this, it was after I sprayed a load of de icer along the bottom of the window when the windows had frozen shut.

No problem, can of silicon spray is a lot cheaper than a new regulator.
