Slipping clutch not slipping anymore!

This week my clutch started slipping. Just very slightly. In 4th and 5th gear.

Now its stopped doing it...! So everything is fine....

If it's started to slip then stopped I would say at some point it will start to slip again.

Take it into your dealer and at the very least ask them to check the clutch pedal position switch is set correctly.

Honestly mate DR is right. If it starts slipping again it could be terminal. I have only ever had one clutch go but one minute it was slipping a tiny bit the next it was pretty much completely knackered. The drive to the garage to get it sorted was rather hairy

If you do have chance you really should get it looked at ASAP.

Mine's going in on Monday as it was slipping when moving off in 1st gear, this was on Saturday evening; drove it again Sunday morning and it hasn't done it since

Strange....

put 4 hefty passengers in it and drive up a steepish hill dual carriageway in 5th or 6th ! It will slip again!!!

mine is in today to have the clutch checked as it was slipping in 1st gear but isn't doing it anymore, so chances are the dealers wont do anything about it as it's under warranty.

further more they have given me an 2009 Si for the day with 750 miles on the clock and i have to say the clutch on that is feather light compared to my 2008 ex with 24k which feels heavy and the suspension on the Si is nice and quiet compared to mine which has the terminal knock which honda say is normal

would this be normal with a 2009 model (new modified parts)
