Rear Discs

I know there are alot of posts about brake issues, but wonder if mine is developing an issue, car has done 5k miles of steady town driving i try not to use the brakes much, try to read the road and let the car slow down on it own, anyway iv noticed that the rear o/s brake disc is starting to score quite alot, the other 3 discs have no issues at all, visually checked the pads and they look to have plenty of meat on them, still look new. Is this a fault or just normal ????

by the way no more or less brake dust than the other wheels.

Could be a stone in between the pad and disc but i had a problem where one of the rear calipers had seazed and therefore the opposite side brake was the only rear one working. This caused one side to wear the pads quicker than the other. At 5k though i wouldnt have thought you'd need new rear pads.

Mines going in next Saturday as I get a rubbing noise when the brakes are cold, but only in reverse. The dealer told me that the pads may be worn or sticking, also that cars with VSA and EPS eats through rear pads! I've now covered 25k miles on these original pads, they may be on their way out even though they told me that they were 60% worn in the last service 2.5k miles ago.

The stone issue is very common, I have more wear on my rear disks too.
