Chip Club

Looks like I have finally joined the chip club.

Took the car to Sainsburys to use the jetwash and notice 2 very very small chips on the bonnet.

One is showing as black, the other as white, I know the white is the undercoat so dont have a clue where the black comes from.

Had the car for nearly 6 months now, and the chips only appeared within the last 2 weeks... I thought I had escaped the winter without any..Bah.

I have a honda touchup pen/bottle but cant use it until it warms up, will the car be ok with the chips until summer arrives? or will they start to rust.

Cheers

It sounds like you should take part in the next Dr Colorchip Group Buy.

I would touch them in now rather than wait until it warms up. Ensure the chips are clean and dry, then place the Honda touch up stick in a cup of hot water to get the paint nice and thin. Use a cocktail stick to apply the paint into the chips, it's much more precise than the supplied brush.
