A/C issue

Hi guys, first post here.
Sorry for what's probably the 400th AC problem thread on here but after reading through the previous ones I cant find a solution.
So I have a 2006 1.8 petrol civic and have had it a year without using the ac it was always out of gas. Recently with the hot weather I had it re-gassed and after still not working I assumed it to be the relay. I couldn't find one local and needed it working on short notice so I went to a breakers yard which only had a old style civic which I found 5/6 of the same style and size relay. I put one of these in and the compressor worked flawlessly for 4 days until today when it has stopped working. I don't believe the issue is a leak in the system as when I touch the valves slightly on either line the gas release seems to be very high pressure, especially compared to how it was before getting it gassed up. I think checked the 7.5a fuse in the engine bay and that it intact along the i believe #36 of the interior fuse box. I went back to the yard and picked up 2 more identical relays of which none of them work. Unless I've knackered the compressor using the wrong relay I'm not sure what could be wrong. Could still have a small leak

Mine took 30 days between gassing to finally stop and there was residual gas still in the system but not enough to allow the compressor to work
it was small.leak from the compressor

If it's been not used for a while a seal could have dried out

Only way is to nitrogen test the system or have it regassed and a UV dye added

Thanks for the reply. Just out of curiosity would the relay still 'click' even with low gas or does the relay come into play after the low pressure sensor?

Shouldn't do no

You can energise the relay to test the compressor just don't run it for long at all

There is a pin guide in the wiki where I got it from to test mine

Still suspecting theres a leak somewhere ableit a very small one

I got mine fixed by removing shims from the clutch.

Thanks I'll take a look at bypassing the relay, I've heard you can bridge 2 of the 3 connections on the low pressure sensor but I'm not sure which 2 I'm supposed to be bridging.
