Mk8 boot leaking

Does anyone know if u can take the rear perspex window off without breaking it I noticed this morning the rear window inside and outside was frozen yes frozen which is concerning I've noticed overtime small trapped bubbles in the rear window perspex where it joins to the glass window the rubber seal I can particularly slightly lift the corner perspex up and the rubber moves all tight and the bolts are tight..! And the rubber boot where the rear wiring loom goes I'm sure that's letting water in... Lazy rubber! Or should I just black tiger seal it all up I don't have much time to be fixing faults atm
