Boot Leak

Hi all..

done some searching for boot leaks.. I've taken the bottom carpet off and cleared up the puddle..

no obvious leak from boot lid or seals around the bottom window

I've attached an image is there any how to for the order of removing trim to get to remove the bit I've circled... the material there is soaking wet
I wanted to remove it to completely dry it out see where to go next.

thanks in advance

From memory, the carpet near the hinge lifts up and its two bolts to remove the moveable base.

I've spotted something similar.
Pop the trim around the boot latch off, then you can pull out the carpet.

On mine it looks like the Seam sealant has a split in it so I will clean it up to get a better look and then, if I'm right, add more seam sealant.

Try that and let me know. I'll try and take some photos at the weekend.
