Update to post

I have had the system scanned , thanks VAGtech.diagnostics, no errors were reported. I have had the crash data removed but the airbag light is still on. Does anyone know if the crash sensors reset themselves or need to be replaced. I have tried to measure across the pins but the readings are the same as a new one. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

sorry guys for being off topic
but out of interest how much was the extended warranty
modern cars are far too sensitive these days with all the electronics on them
so you never know when you might need or benefit from warranty how ever old the car is

See here https://www.honda.co.uk/cars/owners/...guarantee.html
Quite a lot of money.
If you have your car serviced at a Honda dealer you get the Honda Recovery for a year anyway, so with the Extended Guarantee you're paying again for the recovery.
