Service intervals

Hi

I bought my civic a few months ago second hand ex demo with 7000 miles on the clock. When I bought it the dealer gave it a full service and stamped the book on the first service. would this mean I could fore go the first 12500 mile service and wait until 25000 for the next one, or do I go for 12500 intervals from the 7000, or do I try and negotiate an intermediate service to get it back on track with the recommended service interval?

Cheers

The service is 12,500 or annually.

Is the car a year old but with low mileage ?

12500 miles is the service interval so next one should be due at 19500 or one year if sooner(if like me you like to have these things done).

You could do an oil and filter change yourself in a couple of thousand miles and then get the next dealer one at 25000. As its already had a service the warrenty should not be void.

Next service should be 19500, as said above it's 12500 miles OR 12 months whichever comes first.
