OP was probably looking for an Allen type key not a Pentalobe.

Please Bosses in the house, I found this article online but, i must be sincere is not clear enough.
What Repairs Will Fix P0780?

  • Change the transmission fluid and filter ( I guess the MTF 3 or Mobil Dot 4 they mean right?)
  • Replace faulty solenoid(s) ( I can't find any solenoid on Honda Civic Type S i-shift)
  • Repair or replace a faulty transmission pump ( I can't find transmission pump on Honda Civic Type S)
  • Repair or replace defective transmission valve body ( I can't find valve body on Honda Civic Type S)
  • Replace torque convertor lockup solenoid or clutch failure ( please enlighten me)
  • Replace output or input speed sensors (where on Honda Civic Type S do I find this)
  • Replace transmission range sensor (where on Honda Civic Type S do I find this)
  • Transmission flush to clean passages ( please enlighten me)
  • Repairing or replacing wiring ( please enlighten me)
  • Flashing or replacing ECU / TCM ( please enlighten me)
I will highly appreciate your quick and positive reply.

Thanks

TCM is the Transmission Control module which is inside the iShift box itself. If the TCM (i.e. transmission computer) is faulty it'll throw this code.

More than likely the TCM is damaged.

While i appreciate you are in a bit of a bind here, what you're asking is for a professional to basically help you for free that he charges people to fix and rightly so.

You need to find a specialist in your area, or get in a working iShift box and link it with your HDS

Hello Bosses in the house,

I don't know if anyone is using OTC SPX MVCI. If you are using it. Does it reboot if you start the engine while it connected to the ODBII port? Please I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My OTC SPX rebooted while I was performing static learning.
The car is not starting again.
Please help my poor chap out.
I would greatly appreciate your quick and positive reply.
Thanks sir/ma
