Anyone with experience with the push start

Hey im looking for some info regarding the push start button in the civic
I was looking at modding mine for a blue led one:

Chrome/Blue Engine Start Starter Push Button Power Switch - Full kit with loom!

http://bit.ly/1fjbJmP

If you look at the description you get a better idea of the connections on the back of the button but from research on google and pictures found on the forum i can see that its a totally different connection type on the original push starts in civic's.

The seller assures me that it will fit perfectly and comes with everything i'd need to get it working but it also presents the question of how it will light up as im pretty sure it wont using the push start wiring.

Also if anybody has a wiring diagram labelling what cable is what so i dont mix swap them round and cause an implosion.

All help appreciated

Steveo

Someone on the forum replaced the red part and the light inside on the normal civic one.

So it still has that OEM look.

If you take the facia off you can unscrew 2 screa that hold the start button in. Unplug it and then it will be easier to change. Looks a good idea, might do it as i have a blue black combo going

I would imagine that will be very hard work, probably easier to use the starter motor.
