no snowflake!

now the weather has got colder, I have noticed my snowflake warning light doesn't come on anymore. The temp gauge works, the other morning it had dropped from 5 to 1C on the way to work without the warning 'bong' or snowflake symbol

I turned the car off then re-started it and the temp display flashed just like it should to warn me the temperature was below 3, so what's the issue and has anyone had the same?

It's more novelty than anything else, I don't need it but it would be nice if it works!

I think it only warns you if the temp suddenly drops. As an example if it drops from +10 to below 3 in a short space of time.
