How many amps does the alt kick out

Anyone know how many amps the alt kicks out on a type r and how much the car actually needs.

Planning on putting my amps from my last car in but that had a huge alternator and had no problems with the load. The civic one looks tiny in comparison.

The amount of current the alternator needs to output depends on a whole bunch of factors, including how big your ICE is and how loud you have it. And if you've added extra lights.

Alternators out put a AC current which gets regulated by the Voltage/Current Control Circuit

This....

Nice one pal.

Built many an instal so ok with the tech side. Was hoping I could run a decent amp on standard power set up but looks like no chance. I think my smallest amp will melt the battery in this thing if I turn the lights and heaters on lol.
