Mounting a Tom Tom ... Where???

Seeking a good idea for mounting a Tom Tom navigation unit. Window mount mmmmm damn there is a long way for the charger wire from the cigarette lighter plug.

I'm getting mine placed just to the left (in an RHD car) of the stereo/climate control display...

It doesn't block anything, it's a flat surface for the mount to stick to, and you hardly have to cut the dash at all to feed the cable down behind it if you want to wire it into the accessories...

If its one of the new ones that are wide screen then I have been informed by other members at the meet on Saturday that you can mount it in the wee bit where the iPod is usually fitted, you know the little compartment in front of the gear stick that just has nothing to do

Otherwise the rather large section of tha dash in front of the clock etc is very good

No problem, remember the Wiki is your friend.

When you figure out a new solution...you know where to post it
