2006 Door Mirror Heating Element Resistance?

Just a quickie - does anyone know what the resistance of the heating element in a 2006 wing mirror should be?

I've got 12v at the connections and a resistance of about 11 ohms for the when unplugged (which sounds roughly right at about 13w) but they seem to de-mist pretty slowly so I'm hoping having disturbed the connections they'll start working again...

sounds about right to me too
i would expect an open circuit if they were broke or at least a high impedance reading

maybe it's the colder weather that's making them take there time

Likewise I was expecting an infinite reading (that's what I got on a previous car when they failed...)

Thanks for confirming my thoughts re values - I'll see how they go now they've been plugged and unplugged...
