Smile Useless but thrifty?

Ok this is for anyone with ambient lights...

I noticed a cool feature that when you take your key out of the ignition you can turn the ambient lights on and off using the door lock switch located on the drivers door controls.

I found this out by accident as I thought it only happened when a door was opened.

That's what I thought, something more to play with I guess. Ambient lighting wiring must be more complexed than first thought!

I think they turn off and on when unlocking / locking, so that they would be on when you step in to the car.
