Does Iphone work simultaneously - Music lead & EX HF?

Im getting an EX fitted with Honda fitted Ipod lead, i have the iphone 3g and want to know if i use my phone for calls via the HF can i also simultaneously play music via my lead?

Anyone know or tried this?

CUE is offline  

  Civinfo > 8th Generation Euro Honda Civic (2006 - 2011) > Electronics (8G)
