Cable Route From Engine Bay to Cabin

Has anyone run cables from the engine bay into the cabin.

Ive seen the wiki on running the amp cable, but surely there must be an easier way than that!

I have noticed a large gromit on the middle of the dash... has anyone used this?

i dont think there is any 'easy' way of doing it. the best way is to find a grommet that goes through the bulk head and try to get it through. i went through the grommet in the middle behind the engine. I'm not sure if the grommets are the same on the type-r tho but that looked the easiest for me!

I thought this post had a good guide

I also remember seeing somewhere that there is a plate behind the glove box which would be used for wiring if the car was left hand drive - I can't find the post again though
