I've never seen owt like that, from under my rock!

I've seen plenty of gauge on top of the dash and up the a-pillar.

Go for it, we will worship you

Each to their own I guess, as I'd prefer to keep my vent

Looking at this one

What do you think as a match for the dash

That's a pretty good match, well done.

Not sure about the silver bezel tho.

See how it compares to the silver ring around the vent, it may get a quick spray job if it dosent look right.

I like it, but not sure about still having the vent working. Can't change direction to it. Might be blowing in your face!

Just got an email back from TDI north. 335 in total for that job. 200 for labour. Looks tidy, but too pricey for me.

Looks awesome, 335 pounds for a single gauge though, not sure if I can justify that, but so much want!

Looking to get this sorted myself before I get the old girl remapped, but still waiting on TDI yet for a fitment date for me new clutch.
Reckon I can have the job done on my own time for less than 60.

That's does look neat and tidy I really toyed with the idea or sticking mine there, but I actually use my vents so couldn't justify loosing one!

I always tried really hard to work next to it and install another gauge in the area, but couldn't make that work either.

Is the nice matching blue gauge a digital gauge or does it need a boost hose running to it? Looks a very nice match for the Type S blue

Yeh spoke to the company selling them today and it's just boost hose by the looks of it, gonna get one of those pipe T's you bought when you did yours and then it's just putting juice to it when the ignition is on which ain't gonna be to hard it's above the fuse board lol.

But now it won't be shut, and it won't ever be shut. The guy who had it done said that the air still comes out of it around the edges. Can't change direction of it, either. Just have to turn off the head-height vents and use foot vents or windscreen vents :/
