Fuel gauge does not working properly.

Hello everybody.
Few weeks ago i had my fuel pump replaced at dealers. From that moment my fuel gauge is not working properly. Is it may be related to the repair of pump or is it only coincidence that it happened at the same time? I`ve booked my car for diagnosis and if it`s related i don`t want to be charged for any repairs as i paid 370 last time. Will appretiate any help. Thanks and regards.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10min and then reconnect it.

It`s much better now. It`s still about 2mm under the top but a lot better than it was. Thanks Grayfox.

The fuel gauge starts going down after 55mi/90km of driving with the 1.8, but this does depend on the type of driving.
