FK2 (Facelift 09) - Difference between "A/C off" and "OFF" switch?

What exactly is the difference between the A/C switch when it's turned off and the switch called "OFF", please?

"A/C off" just turns off the air conditioning but keep the heater/heating controls active.

Whereas "OFF" turns off the heater/heating controls/fans completely.

I think...

So, turning off A/C, I cannot have lower temperatures anymore and after pressing OFF, I cannot have higher temperatures, either?
And by pressing OFF, the fan is disabled, too?
Is this correct?

But isn't the fan meant to reduce temperature, too?
Then, It should be disabled with the A/C button, shouldn't it?
Quite confusing, isn't it?

A/C forces cabin temperatures lower than ambient.

If you turn A/C off, you can still set the temperature you desire (hot or cold).

The fan on it's own will only reduce cabin temperatures if the outside temps are low.

OFF is all heating/cooling completely shutdown.

Have you ?

Is this thread serious?

What's so confusing about 2 buttons on the dash, one turns the A/C Off/On and the other overrides by turning the fans off completely.

@ Farqui
OK, I see.
Thank you!
EDIT:
Of course, I did use the guide book.
But the description there wasn't as clear as it should be... maybe because of bad or inaccurate translation, I guess.

@ Aquib
Of course, this one is serious!
Referring to these buttons, I was expecting it to be like that, already, and I was asking this question just to be sure.
What's so strange about this question, anyway?
Usually, I use speech commands, but never these buttons.
That's why I wasn't sure about the difference between these two bottons.

Once upon the time in the internet, there was a real great forum called civinfo.com, with lots of nice and friendly people and without any rudeness.
Well... once upon the time!
