Reversing sensors

Have 2008 ex Civic put car into reverse get a bleep followed buy 20 sec droning noise then silence (same noise as you get starting car in reverse) no bleeps to say reversing sensors ok.

Have put ignition on and put car in reverse gear and can hear all 4 sensors beeping - so what else can be wrong - sensor control unit which i think could be ok as the sensors are bleeping or is it the reversing alarm which must exist connected to reverse gear.

Try to talk to Honda who want to book it in and charge a fortune to tell me somethings wrong

Have listened to the sensors and can hear tick from each one Help!!!
