Transferring and viewing phone contact

I have a 57 reg civic ex with sat nav and HFT. I have the following questions:
How to transfer my android contacts?
How to view stored contacts?
How to store/dial contacts using the Satnav screen/control?

On the advance section of the page, the information below is provided with an image of the satnav screen giving the following options, search imported phonebook, show phone book, delete phonebook and pin number. But how do I get to this screen?
Phone Book and Contacts

From your cellular phone you can transfer and store up to 1,000 names and 10,000 phone numbers in the phone book located in the navigation system.

Cripes, does it say that - perhaps that URL has been updated to the latest version?

On the old HFT kit you and I have, you have to punch in contacts manually.

You can't view stored data, the ol'gal reads 'em back to you.

It's an old system and not very user friendly, as you seem to have found

'fraid not, I think transferring the phone book is on later cars.

My '08 (as far as I'm aware) you have to store each and every number you want with a specific voice command, spelling(?!) out each number indvidually

Viewing it on the Sat Nav screen is not possible on our age of cars.

My old Grande Punto could transfer/view etc, oh well!

All the info is in the Handbook BTW
