Question Windscreen Wiper Motor Removal

Hi all,

New to the forum (so, 'hi!') and recently got hold of a '57 plate Civic for my wife. Only problem with it is that the wipers seem to have a mind of their own as they don't always stop when you turn them off, and don't always park in the right position.

Having had a look around the forum it seems this is a fairly common issue and can often be resolved by either cleaning or replacing the wiper motor. What I'm struggling to find is a clear guide on how to go about accessing and removing the motor. I remember having a similar problem with an old BMW I used to own and a clean / re-grease of the motor solved the issue, so I'm keen to try the same on the Civic if someone can point me towards a guide for removing the motor, please.

Thanks, Adam.
