Any parrot kit installers in Essex

Hi all I've just bought my 2nd civic (biggest mistake of my life selling the first one!) and this one has far fewer gadgets than my first. I've bought a parrot mki9000 on ebay and would like to get it fitted. I've got a quote from a local shop but halfords came in 2/3 of the price. I know a lot of people will probably say best to avoid halfords as it all depends on who happens to do the work so thought i'd check here if anybody is experienced in this and fancies the task. I'm in south east essex.

On another note, whilst the dash is off is there anything else you guys would recommend fitting? It already has parking sensors and I dont have a sat nav so cant have a camera so not sure if there is anything else. I assume the whole sat nav is an unrealistic/impossible upgrade. Anything else you would do whilst having the bluetooth kit done?

Hello, is two options to fit parrot, 1st one is bay using parrot amp which is terrible idea, 2nd one is by opening car radio, soldering some resistor, which adds original aux inside oem radio, and connecting parrot to original radio with AUX, and using original radio amp. If you want 2nd way, i will write a Gide.

thanks xfiniti64. I've just spoken to a local installer who mentioned that it's much more difficult and expensive if I have the amplified version of the radio. Is this true? Anyone know how I can tell?

Problem is they don't know where to start, its hidden future, and carefully disabled by honda engineers. Like i said before, you need to open radio, and solder additional resistors. Way not do by your self ?
