Fitting a additional alarm LED panel

Hi

Looking to fit an additional LED panel to light up when then the alarm is activated i.e. When the car is locked, i would like this panel to light, then go off when the car is unlocked.

How easy would this be to do.........

Personally I wouldn't,,surely that will just draw attention to the car while your away from it?

Yeah I wouldn't either, but there is a little flashy light in the dashboard which comes on when the alarm is active. You might be able to trace back the source of that and use that to control the light. Or if you cant trace it back then just use it as a control signal feeding a relay/switching circuit with the permanent live from the option connector.
Really don't think that it's a good idea though ...

Yeah that is a good point - drawing attention etc, hadn't even gave that a thought, I guess I'll just leave it as is and control it with the remote as and when I want to use the light

But that's for the input guys
