Parkng Sensor Help needed!!!

Could someone tell me:
1. How do the sensors work - is the beam only horizontal or does it have a vertical spread as well. I am thinking of reversing up to a post and rail fence where the rail could be at 3 or 4 feet and the posts could be wider apart than the width of the car.
2. How well do they work in practice?
3. Are they worth the money?
Cheers

Eco display
See here: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/showthr...hlight=sensors

In my experience, they worked well on the car's I've had them fitted too. They picked up most things, even posts.

good

they work very unless you have the boot full and then you can't hear the sounder

Don't have them if you want a fixed tow ball

I have had to have the detachable one (rubbish ideal)

I think what with the poor rear vision its a good extra

(blimey a positive post)

no comments please

Reading through your list of problems though, if you had them fitted, they would probably short circuit something else whilst you calmly reversed straight into the obstruction ?

All depends on how much you trust your judgement and your reversing.

I've got them fitted and rely on them entirely.

So far so good.

"Why do they call someone 'late' when they died earlier than expected?"

So do I. A definite 'must have'.
