Switched for what, ignition?

In the drivers footwell, there is a handy option connector that has numerous feeds you may find useful.

Have you checked this; Option Connector - Civinfo Wiki

If you want a feed from the under bonnet fuse box, then you'll need to review the fuse usage and maybe use a piggy back connector.

Nope, I've only hooked into the internal fuse board.

Check threads on amplifier wiring, or heated seats as they often pass wires through the bulkhead via grommets in the footwells.

Others have managed to route cables via the wings too but I've no experience there.

Look at my how to on installing V3 Triton Switchbacks.

I used them as DRLs and I show how I used the internal fusebox and routed wires into the engine bay.
