Alternator Stopped Working

Anyone else has their alternator stop working on them?

I turned my car on this morning, only to have the battery symbol stay lit. I tried to get to work but it ran out of juice. Prior to looking at the car the lady at Honda said she was sure it wouldn't be the alternator. The mechanic looked at it and turned out the alternator had just stopped working! Lucky it is still under warranty! Trying to get a courtesy from them on the other hand..well...that's impossible!
