Retro-fitting Sat Nav

Hi all, and apologise if this has been covered before (no doubt it has!!) But, I have an ES 2.2 on a 56 plate, and am wishing i'd gone for the EX with the extra fancy bits ) now there seems to be a few EX sat nav bits and peices flying around on ebay and the like question is - how hard/staright forward is it to install one of these units into an ES??

I've had the radio bits and pieces to bits in past to install DICE, but would like to here from anyone who has done this retro-fitment.

Cheers all

From what i have read on various forums, its not as easy as one would think..

The entire top part of the dash(bit where your clock is now) is different the clock screen is moved over and is smaller, due to the satnav screen being installed.

I think its possible, but expensive and time consuming.

It is possible, but it is hard work and you'll need lots of parts (don't forget things like the extra steering wheel controls, the GPS module, TMC antenna and so on). Someone here has done it - rough details and photos are in the Supporters forum.
