Civic EX Mirrors Not Folding

Hi everyone,

I picked a 2007 Civic EX Ctdi today and I'm really impressed with it. However the folding mirrors won't work at all, they just seem to be completely dead. I've read that the SOD in the mirrors can go faulty but would this cause both mirrors to just stop working completely?

Thanks

If both aren't working then ensure your fuse is okay. You'll need to look up which one it is

When I bought my second hand Civic, both mirrors were dead, two sod replacements cured things.

Cheaper to get them repaired at a fraction of the price if that is the root cause of the problem. Syx and ante00 both offer a repair service in the hobbyists section.

I should have said repaired as that's what I did, sent for two polyswitches and soldered them in.
