No warning lights coming on in dash
Well this evening I decided to change reversing bulbs for LED type. Left ignition on and car in reverse so I could make sure polarity of the LED bulbs was correct.
Pulled bulb out, pushed LED one in which flashed and went out so I tried 2nd one which didnt light so I put original bulb in which also did not light then noticed that the other side reversing light had gone out and assumed the fuse had blown.
Gave up and got into drive home, put key in, welcome lights came on, turned key and no warning lights came on - zilch! Pressed start, turned over lovely but not firing. Got nothing working that is normally associated with the "run" position of the key.
Called AA, 2 hours later a 3rd party garage turned up, 10 miutes checking fuses using his phone torch to see what he was doing and declared it's a "broken relay" wrote me up and buggered off. Luckily was still at work so could take a van home.
I'm conviced it's a blown fuse but haven't had time to check. I'm open to suggestions on which one, 36 internal comes to mind.
Any ideas gratefully received.
