battery comprison

Hi,

mrs has a 2008 type s and recently bought a new duracell battery from euro car parts

DA45 Advanced Car Battery Type 156 - 5 Year Guarantee | Car PartsRetailer

my fn2 has its original battery but its gone and needs replacing, i'd like to get the same duracell but for some unknown reason euro car parts doesnt recommend that based on reg entry.

They look the same and can tell no obvious differences, does anyone know why they might be different before i take the (slight) risk and order it?

I have just bought one on Sunday from ECP, as my "highly rated" Yuasa is stone dead after only 11 months! The Yuasa gave up with no warning whatsoever - new Duracell in, and it fired immediately.

5 year warranty too.................

Surely the Yuasa was still under warranty?

Yes it was however, the motorfactor wasn't open on a Sunday and I had to have the car running that day, hence going to ECP for the Duracell. Thankfully the retailer gave me a full refund on the Yuasa, as I kept the receipt.
Jon_G and Farqui like this.
