Accord Hands Free Phone (HFT) Issue

Quick question does the Accord Hands Free Phone (HFT)module suffer the same issues as the one in the Civic with regard to jo9intfailure and parasitic drain etc?

I ask as a colleague of mine has a 56 plate Accord Tourerand has had a few issues recently with random alarm sounding, a low battery anda failure to connect to his phone. Itsounds decidedly similar to the issues associated with the HFT in the Civic sowe are debating pulling the dash vents and unplugging the module.
